We all received the sad news a couple of weeks ago that Pokémon Bank will cease to function at the end of next February. I felt deflated for several days, since I had so many plans to do ribbon masters and a living origin dex, all while taking my time and enjoying the games slowly over many years. When I do play games, I often only play for two to three hours a day because I have a job and a family, and I like to give everything the attention it deserves. I also have other games I like to play outside of Pokémon. I've had to shift my priorities a bit so that I can do as much as I can before Bank fails. The first priority is to get my Shadow Snorlax ribbon master all the way up to generation eight on the Switch. I decided to document that journey using in-world journal style posts. My secondary priority is to get as much of my living origin dex finished as I can, with the focus being on the 3DS titles, since I think those will take the longest to get as rereleases. I started playing through Pokémon Emerald about a week and a half ago, and I've got over 17 hours logged (I just received the sixth gym badge today). I planned to finish that game to do the Hoenn contests and some of the battle tower, although I plan to do the level 50 tower in Pokémon Sapphire. I'll keep things posted here as I go.

It took me four months to finish the DLC associated with Pokémon Legends: Z-A and complete all three of the game's dexes in Home. I have updated my Generations 8 + 9 Pokémon Journey page with a few additional comments about my experience with that game. Along the way, I made a few new shiny friends, so I have also updated My Shiny Pokémon Gallery. Since the last update in April, I added two more affiiates to the footer of this web site, which brings the total to six. Finally, I wanted to let readers of this site know that I recently decided to revive my Twitch channel and do some streaming again. Some of my first streams back were with Pokémon Legends: Z-A, so if you like to watch gaming streams, please follow me. Do not forget that you can subscribe to email updates for this site.

I have received a nice response to the launching of this site over the past few days. You may notice that I already have a few affiliates linked at the bottom of the page. I want to give an extra special thanks to Butterfree at The Cave of the Dragonflies for thoroughly combing through my site and giving me a list of corrections. She's a real gem.
I have gone through and cleaned up those errors, and I have also updated Generations 8 + 9 Pokémon Journey to reflect information about Pokémon Champions, which released globally over the past 24 hours.

I am just now finishing up the initial building of this web site, so I welcome any of you early visitors to look over everything and write to me using the feedback page if you see any errors, whether factual or technical. I will likely be tweaking little things and cleaning up here and there as I notice mistakes. I would like to start affiliating with other retro Pokémon fan sites, so please write to me if you have one you would like me to check out.
